Taught in Hendersonville Elementary (1978-2001), illuminating children about history. Career spanned 33 years and five states. Led classes’ award-winning multi-media projects, such as apple-themed quilts. Spearheads several scholarships. Scouted year-round schedule, advised N.C. Museum History on its Civil War exhibit.
