  ANNOUNCES FALL BBQ

TIME: 3:30 pm – 6:00 pm

PLACE: Balfour Education Center (across from Hunter's Chevrolet)

2529 Asheville Highway , Hendersonville , NC

PRICE(s): $10.00 Adults

$ 5.00 for students nine (9) or under

TICKETS: Available from Hendersonville Chamber of Commerce, Travel & Tourism, HCEF board members, all Henderson County schools and at the office of HCEF by calling 698-8884 and ask for Faye Gray.

Awards will be presented to outstanding ticket sales.

$5.00 student award for ice cream at Piggy's

A FREE meal for 2 will go to an individual selling the most adult tickets

Entertainment: Every half hour we will have a different group of entertainers from HCPS schools Honorary Co-Chairpersons are :

Charlie Byrd, Retired Superintendent of Schools and Corum Smith, Retired Principal of Balfour Elementary and Mike Pressley, past Principal of Balfour School

This event is in conjunction with AMERICAN EDUCATION WEEK -- November 14-19, 2005 . Uncle Sam will make a special appearance at the BBQ.

All proceeds will go to the students and teachers of Henderson County Public Schools. There are 12,500 students and over 1700 employees
